Sorry guys. I had to homicide the encaustic I posted yesterday; I wasn't convinced it was going to fly when I did it and when I woke up this morning it had gotten even weirder overnight. This is my replacement. It must be the full moon.

That is funny Judy! I also thought about a rose of sorts...but went a different direction...so my red piece is almost done...will post in awhile. I almost hauled out my encaustic stuff, thanks to you! But there is no room in my studio right now...thanks for your inspiration...Laurie
I'm wondering how it could have gotten weirder overnight. I like that encaustic piece, reminds me of something spiritual, tao-ish.
This one is pretty, ethereal. I am loving the wax.
I'm finishing mine today, will post when it is dry.
